How mentoring drives a best places to work culture

Like most everything, we do mentoring a little differently here at Ervin & Smith. Every day you’ll find it happening across teams and titles.

Our President and CEO, Heidi Mausbach was recently featured in a series of LinkedIn articles on the topic by Andrea Tortora. “We are always saying that seniority or not, we can learn from anyone,” Mausbach said.

“The power of mentoring is impactful from a business and personal perspective,” Tortora writes. “Studies show that mentoring can lead to promotion, salary increases and the opportunity to … make connections and gain assignments that build a path to the C-suite.”

Mentoring isn’t one-size-fits-all, and our C-suite recognizes that. At E&S you’ll find many different opportunities like lunch with a leader, peer one-on-one meetings, even a personal coach. When designing our new office in Aksarben Village, we incorporated collaboration space in every spot possible.

“Mentoring goes hand-in-hand with our candid culture,” says Mausbach. “It encourages open conversations leading to breakthroughs that benefit the whole agency.”
