Account Lead.

Position summary.

As an Account Lead, you will be at the helm of top-tier accounts, leading complex marketing and media strategies through research, campaign strategy, media planning, execution, measurement and optimization.

Internally, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to creatively solve problems and manage resources as needed. We’re looking for someone to act as the subject matter expert on our clients’ industry and competitive landscape, while acting as a leader that builds up the team, identifies future opportunities and actively contributes to the success of the agency.

 

Role requirements.

  • 8+ years of experience in account management in an advertising agency or related field is required
  • Significant experience providing analysis and strategy to align major digital media initiatives with business objectives
  • Fluent in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other digital media platforms
  • Ability to develop marketing strategy and execute plans across a wide variety of channels, including digital and traditional media, PR, influencer relations, email marketing and others
  • Comfortable leading the end-to-end creative briefing process, including initial research and insight generation, messaging development, timelines and budget creation
  • Experience planning, managing and executing video projects
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Has excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Performs duties and tasks independently, with little supervision
  • Seeks guidance and direction as necessary for performance of duties
  • Adapts quickly and easily to clients’ changing requests/needs
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Maintains cooperative working relationships with the creative, marketing, operations and account services teams
  • Provides creative solutions to project work and processes

 

Position responsibilities.

  • Strategic Development: Generates integrated media and campaign strategies rooted in research and analytics
  • Media analysis and optimization: Reviews and reports on marketing and media performance, identifying opportunities for optimization, future campaigns or other changes to align marketing work with business objectives
  • Relationship Management: Independently leads relationship with client contacts across all levels from executive management to day-to-day contacts
  • Project Management: Independently scopes, plans, leads, reviews and identifies resources for new or large initiatives with multiple projects
  • Client Growth and Retention: Works with executive team members to develop and execute sales strategies to drive current account growth, possesses deep expertise in clients’ offerings, provides strategic leadership and direction for the agency teams and client
  • Financials: Reviews and is accountable for client projections, budgets and billings
  • Team Development: Trains, mentors and identifies/implements training opportunities for client service team members
