Senior Project Lead.

Position summary.

As the Senior Project Lead, you’ll be the driving force behind our projects, guiding them from client kick-off to the final delivery with a focus on creativity, strategy, and client satisfaction. You’ll independently craft timelines, creative briefs, and project plans to ensure everything is on time, within budget, and meets client expectations. Alongside building positive client relationships and overseeing finances, you’ll also play a key role in fostering a friendly and collaborative team culture, contributing to our agency’s growth and success.

Minimum experience and requirements.

  • Requires 5+ years of experience in agency project management
  • Possesses a strong knowledge in marketing, media, and advertising, including working experience in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Meta Ads
  • Has comfort in assessing and presenting data-centric digital media, branding and other performance marketing results
  • Possesses working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Keynote
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Has excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Performs duties and tasks independently and knows when to seek guidance and direction
  • Is flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates proven experience in managing complex projects and executes based on project management best practices
  • Possesses curiosity and confidence to solve complex problems

Principle accountabilities and job functions.

  • Project leadership:
    • Lead the development of all project work from client kick-off to final delivery, including reviewing work for strategic, brand and client-alignment
    • Independently create timelines, creative briefs, assignment sheets and project plans to ensure work is completed on time, on budget and meets the client’s needs and objectives
    • Work with account leadership to plan and implement campaigns and projects of varying degrees of complexity
    • Manage project timelines, budgets and billing for assigned accounts
    • Leads client status meetings, both internal and with the client
    • Ensure all client-facing work is proofread and QA checked before going to client
    • Understand how assigned client work and timelines impact agency capacity
    • Develop expertise in Wrike and maintain SME status within the agency
  • Client relationship management:
    • Build and maintain positive working relationships across client levels from executives today-to-day contacts
  • Financial oversight:
    • Review and be accountable for client revenue projections and billings
    • In collaboration with account leadership, ensure Ervin & Smith has adequately fulfilled scopes of work on assigned accounts, based on deliverables, timing and billings
  • Team & culture leadership:
    • Develop relationships with each team member, providing coaching and mentoring to junior client success team members
    • Contribute to the growth and goals of the agency and team by meeting deadlines, following agency processes, attending agency outings, and exemplifying agency core values

In 2016, after a five-month sabbatical around the world, she returned to her hometown and joined Ervin & Smith.
