Account supervisor.

In your position.

We are seeking an account supervisor who is a proactive problem solver, with strategic and executional expertise in the digital media space. You’re a self-starter who can quickly gain an understanding of your client’s industry, business and products to lead the team through complex marketing and media initiatives. You will help establish direction for creative campaigns, provide strategic support, and drive positive results for your client’s business. Best of all, you’ll be surrounded by an experienced team of media buyers, creative strategists, project managers and marketing analysts who are passionate about doing results-driving marketing.


Role requirements.

  • 8+ years of experience in agency project management; 2+ years of which in account leadership or planning
  • Strong knowledge in marketing, media, and advertising, including working experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Meta Ads
  • Comfortable assessing and presenting data-centric digital media, branding and other performance marketing results
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Keynote
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Performs duties and tasks independently and knows when to seek guidance and direction
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects and executing based on project management best practices
  • Curiosity and confidence to solve complex problems
  • Omaha-based, able to be in office 3+ days per week 


Position responsibilities.

  • Leads a book of business, including creating and reviewing project plans, timelines, scopes, briefs, and client deliverables for these assigned accounts
  • Develops creative briefs that establish the marketing approach and messaging direction for integrated campaigns based on the client’s business goals  
  • Possesses a deep understanding of the history of assigned accounts ensuring past learnings and context are transferred to current projects and processes
  • Effectively leads internal and external teams through project work, navigating the ins and outs of all assigned projects to troubleshoot, adapt, and adjust our project management approach to fit budgets, timelines, and client needs
  • Independently scopes, plans and leads new or large initiatives
  • Collaborates with the creative, growth and media teams to build, launch and optimize integrated marketing and media campaigns
  • Develops a deep knowledge of assigned clients’ businesses, including building relationships with key contacts across their business from senior management to day-to-day contacts
  • Stays up to date on assigned clients’ industry trends, audiences, and marketing vision
  • Presents project work and performance results to client
  • Leads new client on-boarding for assigned accounts
  • Reviews and is accountable for client projections and billings
  • Develops relationships with each employee on the team, including coaching/mentoring junior client success team members
  • Contributes to the growth and goals of the agency and team, including meeting deadlines, following agency processes, attending agency outings and exemplifying agency core values

Leanne began her professional career in New York City working for some of the nation’s leading agencies. In 2016, after a five-month sabbatical around the world, she returned to her hometown and joined Ervin & Smith. Her global perspective and expanded professional experience influence the work she does today.
