Entrepreneur’s Top Company Cultures – #25!

Creating a workplace where employees feel they can be the best versions of themselves and do the best work takes time and intentionality. That’s why it’s especially rewarding to announce that Entrepreneur magazine has included Ervin & Smith in its ranking of Top Company Cultures for the second year in a row.

“One aspect that really shapes our culture is our Well-being Perks,” says President and CEO Heidi Mausbach. “They’ve been designed to help our employees feel good and live with great purpose. That’s because we’ve designed perks that focus on the whole person, or, the total health of that person. We want to make sure we have an opportunity to impact key areas of our employees’ lives that allow them to operate at their highest potential…inside and outside of work.”

Well-being Perks include valuable individual coaching, leadership training, a monthly book reimbursement (after all, reading inspires creativity), extended holidays, catered lunches, wellness reimbursements, financial literacy courses and hands-on creative learning opportunities.

Chief Marketing Officer Katie Kemerling says, “It was really important to us to design a benefits and perks package that focused on five areas of a person’s total health (as reported by the Gallup-Sharecare Well-being Index): career, social, community, financial and physical.”

“The reason being that the whole person comes to work every single day, and what happens in one part of your life can impact the rest! Plus, we know that each employee’s well-being influences individual and organizational performance – so it’s a win, win!”

The Entrepreneur program strives to recognize U.S. businesses exhibiting high-performance cultures. A total of 150 companies categorized as small, midsize or large companies were recognized this year. Ervin & Smith achieved the number 25 spot on the small companies list.

Thank you to Entrepreneur, for recognizing E&S with this win!
