Agency poised for growth after record year
Ervin & Smith has announced that Leanne Prewitt has been named the agency’s new president.
Leanne joined Ervin & Smith in 2016 as creative director and has led a talented team of writers and designers who create award-winning creative for clients such as Creighton, Borsheims, Scoular, TD Ameritrade, Vehicle Service Group and more. Her more than 20 years of agency experience from around the country give her a broad global perspective and experience to take on the role.
“I am beyond excited to be leading an accomplished team that is known for developing smart strategies, generating outstanding creative and delivering excellent service to our clients,” said Prewitt. “We’ve experienced incredible growth over the last year, and I’m committed to continuing that momentum. I’m confident in our team’s ability to deliver the best possible work to drive our clients’ businesses forward. That’s what it means to bring our mission of creating things that matter to life.”
Leanne is actively involved in the Omaha community and serves on the board for Mercy High School as well as volunteers her time giving back to Omaha’s creative community, mentoring up-and-coming creatives and volunteering with several industry associations. Leanne, who has always had a passion to create a better community, also co-founded Women Who Run Nebraska, an organization and state political action committee that recruits, promotes and supports the smart, talented women running for office in the state.

Current agency leadership, president and CEO Heidi Mausbach and chief marketing officer Katie Kemerling, who have been with the agency 20 years and 15 years respectively, will be stepping down from their roles at the agency to pursue their own business consultancy company. Ervin & Smith is positioned to succeed with its stellar team and award-winning culture.
