Account Supervisor

We’re looking for a digital-savvy account supervisor (a.k.a. account manager or account lead) who thrives on solving problems and delivering big results. In this role, you’ll dive into your client’s world, leading the charge on creative campaigns and strategic initiatives that drive their business forward. With a talented team of media buyers, creative strategists, and analysts by your side, you’ll help shape what’s next in results-driven marketing.

Minimum experience and requirements.

  • Requires 8+ years of experience in agency project management; 2+ years of which in account leadership or planning
  • Possesses a strong knowledge in marketing, media, and advertising, including working experience in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Meta Ads
  • Has comfort in assessing and presenting data-centric digital media, branding and other performance marketing results
  • Possesses working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Keynote
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintains a high attention to detail as well as strong organizational and time management skills
  • Performs duties and tasks independently and knows when to seek guidance and direction
  • Is flexible and adaptable to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrates proven experience in managing complex projects and executes based on project management best practices
  • Possesses curiosity and confidence to solve complex problems

 

Principle accountabilities & job functions.

Strategic account management:
  • Lead a book of business, overseeing the development and review of all deliverables ensuring work meets the client and agency’s standards
  • Lead new client onboarding processes for assigned accounts, ensuring a smooth transition and understanding of client expectations
  • Stay up to date on assigned clients’ industry trends, audiences, and marketing vision, contributing valuable insights to account deliverables
Financial oversight:
  • Review and be accountable for client projections and billings, ensuring financial goals are met for assigned accounts
  • Ensure the agency has adequately fulfilled scopes of work on assigned accounts, based on deliverables, timing and billings
Client account expertise:
  • Possess a deep understanding of the history of assigned accounts, ensuring past learnings and context are transferred to current projects and processes
  • Maintain a deep understanding of business objectives and goals
  • Possess a deep understanding of client preferences, ensuring they’re always considered
Project ownership:
  • Effectively lead internal and external teams through project work, navigating the intricacies of all assigned projects to troubleshoot, adapt, and adjust project management approaches to fit budgets, timelines, and client needs
  • Present project work and performance results to clients
Campaign and complex project planning:
  • Lead creation of project plans including team assignments, timelines and mandatories for the project to run successfully
  • Develop briefs and assignment sheets that establish marketing and messaging direction for complex projects and/or campaigns
  • Collaborate with creative, growth, and media teams to build, launch, and optimize integrated marketing and media campaigns for assigned accounts
Client relationship leadership:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key contacts across clients’ businesses, from senior management to day-to-day contacts
Team & culture leadership:
  • Develop relationships with each team member, providing coaching and mentoring to junior client success team members
  • Contribute to the growth and goals of the agency and team by meeting deadlines, following agency processes, attending agency outings, and exemplifying agency core values

In 2016, after a five-month sabbatical around the world, she returned to her hometown and joined Ervin & Smith. Her global perspective and expanded professional experience influence the work she does today.
