Ervin & Smith announces the promotion of Ryan Cruickshank to information technology director and Katie Herzog to account supervisor.
In his role as director of information technology, Cruickshank is responsible for the overall strategy and operations of the IT functions for the agency. With more than a decade of IT experience, his industry knowledge spans from telecommunications to financial services with expertise in software development, business analysis, project management and IT client relationship management. Cruickshank has an Associate in Applied Science degree in computer programming from Metropolitan Community College. He also holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in management information systems and a Master of Business Administration degree from Bellevue University.
As account supervisor, Herzog helps brands optimize their online presence by developing strategic marketing and social media plans for key clients. Her leadership expertise as well as her industry knowledge have proven valuable to the agency as she manages campaigns for clients in a variety of industries from business-to-business to financial services. In her previous role as senior account executive, Herzog worked with top-tier clients to develop and execute award-winning creative that supported her client’s overall businesses goals. Herzog is a University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduate with a Bachelor of Journalism degree in advertising and is a member of the American Marketing Association.
