Best of Show & other wins at the Pinnacle Awards.

Three Pinnacle awards, awarded to Ervin & Smith displayed on plywood shelf.

Let’s be real. We’re a little skeptical of most award shows. Many are political. And subjective. Often, the flashiest creative wins without any interest in what matters most to us: Was the work effective?

We’re a results-driven marketing firm. Beautiful work is important, but it means nothing if it doesn’t move the needle for our clients.

That’s one reason we don’t enter many award shows. And it’s why we love the Pinnacle Awards hosted by the American Marketing Association. Not only are submissions reviewed by multiple AMA sister chapters across the Midwest — entries are judged based on campaign strategy, approach AND results.

Because of this focus on performance, we’re honored to win anything at the Pinnacle Awards. But this year we’re thrilled to announce we won the biggest award of the night: Best of Show for our work on the Borsheims 2023 Holiday Campaign

We accepted the award for the highest-graded entry in the entire show alongside our client partner, Jaci Stuifbergen. The work we do is always a collaboration with our clients — winning beside them is one of the best parts of the job.

The Borsheims holiday campaign also won a Pinnacle (AMA’s version of Gold) for digital media, as our social campaign increased e-commerce revenue by 230% from the previous year.

More wins to celebrate.

E&S 40th Anniversary won Pinnacle.

We saw a 338% increase in LinkedIn impressions and doubled our Facebook engagements thanks to work we did for our milestone anniversary, in partnership with Passport PR

Mercy Fall Recruitment won Silver.

Our top-of-funnel integrated creative and media campaign for Mercy High School increased open house registrations by 150% and generated 1.2 million impressions.

Symphony Pointe Grand Opening won Silver.

Through brand creation and media strategy, we helped Agemark Senior Living exceed its goal deposits by 57% before the grand opening of its new community, Symphony Pointe.

Scoular Global Site won Pinnacle.

Our client, Scoular, submitted work for a massive global site project where countless partners were tapped to expand their web presence internationally. We were thrilled to see them win and happy to have been a part of making the project a success.

To top it all off, our designs set the mood.

One of the biggest E&S wins of the evening went beyond the trophies. As a presenting sponsor for the Pinnacle Awards, we created an eye-catching, cohesive design system that included all visuals for the event — from major signage to drink tickets.

We love coming together with peers to celebrate the amazing marketing happening in Nebraska. Almost as much as we love creating work that really works for our clients.
