The ask.
After 127 years in agribusiness, Scoular’s leadership was moving the company into a new era of innovation and unprecedented growth. They wanted a brand that would:
- Differentiate and define their offering in the marketplace.
- Be flexible enough to evolve with their business units.
- Make current employees proud while attracting a younger, more diverse workforce.
The truth.
Scoular is a company built on entrepreneurial spirit and autonomy. We needed to unite global internal and external audiences around a singular vision that still felt authentic and empowering. We also needed to prepare our non-marketing counterparts for sweeping change by proving out the true value of brand cohesion.
The solution.
We knew employees would become our most influential brand ambassadors, so we invited a team of strategically chosen collaborators to participate in the branding process. Through a series of workshops, we uncovered common themes that inspired a new strategic brand platform, including updated positioning and value proposition.
For the first time in their history, Scoular had an all-encompassing story to tell that brought every business vertical together with a new logo, tagline and look and feel.
Our work culminated in a comprehensive refresh of existing materials. We designed and developed a new website (translated for international audiences) and established cohesive messaging and design for key touchpoints, including sales materials, employee engagement and the interiors of their new global headquarters.

In the four years following the award-winning brand launch creative, Scoular experienced over $5 billion in business growth. We’ve continued to partner together, consulting on brand architecture and additional sub-brand development as the company expands and evolves.
